EnGenius DuraFon 1X System

The EnGenius DuraFon is a 900 MHz rugged industral cordless phone. With a range up to 5 miles (8 km), coverage up to 250,000 sq. ft. in warehouses, up to 12 floors of penetration in office buildings and up to 3,000 acres of coverage outdoors, it is an ideal cordless communications solution for a variety of applications, from factories and warehouses to college campuses and car lots.

EnGenius DuraFon 1X Handset

The handset for the EnGenius DuraFon 900 MHz system is ruggedized for use in industrial environments. It features an LCD display with Caller ID, a 30 number speed dial memory and a PBX soft button for easy integration into your existing phone system. With an integral headset jack, you can enjoy hands-free, cordless freedom! Each handset also functions as a 2-way radio independent of the base unit. Broadcast functions include one-to-one, one-to-many or one-to-all.

EnGenius DuraFon 1X Base Unit

The base unit for the EnGenius DuraFon 900 MHz system is ruggedized for use in industrial environments. It connects to any analog extension OR can be added to your digital PBX with the optional EnGenius Digital Adapter.

The range of your EnGenius DuraFon can be extended with the optional external antenna unit (shown below). Two base units can share a single antenna with the optional antenna splitter (shown below).

Spare Battery for EnGenius DuraFon 1X Handset

The EnGenius DuraFon 1X handset features 6 hours of talk time and 50 hours of standby time. This is because of its new Lithium Ion battery. Keeping a spare battery in the charger will ensure continuous talk capability.

Utility Pouch for EnGenius DuraFon 1X Handset

Keep your new EnGenius DuraFon handset handy at all times with this utility pouch. Specifically designed for your DuraFon handset, the pouch also features two additional utility pockets for other important items you need to carry.

EnGenius High Gain Antenna SN-ULTRA-AK20

This high gain antenna comes with coaxial cable (approximately 60 feet / 20 meters). This product is highly recommended if you are using your EnGenius DuraFon outdoors to provide extra range. It should also be combined with a lightening protection kit (shown below).

Antenna Splitter

This kit allows you to combine two EnGenius base units to a single external antenna. Works for the SN-920, EP-490 and the new DuraFon.

Lightning Protection Kit

This kit is recommended for use with an external antenna. It will protect the DuraFon's base from the static electricity that builds up during a storm. For more protection, use a power bar that offers phone line surge protection for the base unit.

EnGenius Music-in Cable

3.5mm Music-On-Hold Cable for integrating a music source (On-Hold-Plus, or customer provided radio) to the EnGenius DuraFon Industrial Cordless System.

EnGenius Digital Adapter

For use behind common digital phone systems such as Nortel, Avaya or Siemens. The digital adapter allows the EnGenius base to share the same extension as your desk phone and adds functionality. No need to tie up an ATA or analog port. One adapter is required per line. This unit works with all EnGenius long range cordless phones, as well as other analog equipment.
